Arwaah — Bridal Gown

Arwaah is built for the Baraat — the occasion that asks the most of a garment. Cut in dual-layer Sheesha silk in a deep rust, it carries the weight of antique-gold zardozi, dabka, naqshi, pearls and stones across a fitted bodice and sleeves, breaking at an embellished waist into a wide flared skirt that finishes in a dense, ornate scalloped hem.

Sheesha silk is chosen for its structure: it holds the embroidery flat and drapes with authority rather than softness. The all-over kaam is worked by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier — each panel drawn as a khaka before a single thread is placed. The separate dupatta is sheer khaadi net in the same rust, edged in embroidered borders with scattered motifs that echo the gown without repeating it. The neckline is round with a centre-front keyhole drop and a V-shaped back — considered details that reward a second look.

Available off-the-rack or fully made to order — colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, embroidery and pieces adjusted by private consultation. Dry clean only. Store flat or on a padded hanger away from direct light.
