Saaedah — Bridal Gown
Saaedah is made for the morning after the night before — a Walima or Nikkah where the light is softer and the occasion calls for something that moves quietly. Cut in pure net over a full, floor-length skirt, it is embroidered all over in silver dabka, sitara and beadwork, with scattered mint accents that catch without demanding attention.
The fabric is fine net, chosen for the way it holds embroidery without weight. The bodice is square-necked and fitted, flowing into a wide skirt dense with floral jaal work across the front, sleeves and hem. The scalloped border at the hem is worked in the same hand as the body — no machine finishing. The matching net dupatta is head-draped, carrying booti work and a worked edge that mirrors the gown's border. Every panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.
